I really, really did not think I would finish this recap before the next episode aired. Having a peaceful, productive Saturday to myself last weekend did wonders! Shame it was my last free Saturday for a good few weeks to come. It's also been a pretty quiet week all around - which is also unlikely to last.
So, here 'tis, not that anybody will probably bother to read, being all caught up with reaction to the new episode airing tonight. 30+ pages in which I rattle on and on about Dean's misery and Sam's impatience, the ongoing aftermath of the siren, why Dean would dearly love to be able to believe in miracles but knows that he can't, Sam's growing ruthlessness and loss of compassion, why the needs of the one are as important as the needs of the many, why Sam is scaring me so much, moments of shallow appreciation of how pretty Dean looks in this episode, Pamela's bad temper, why helping young Cole to move on was as important as saving the Seal, Tessa, Dean's restored memories and continued belief that he should have died long ago, the organisation or lack thereof of Reapers, Dean's reaction to Alistair, Castiel's decision to manipulate rather than negotiate, the parallel between Sam and Pamela and why he needs so desperately to heed her warning but probably won't, and lots more beside.
