Nov. 21st, 2006 03:55 pmWork frustrations easing off now, so hopefully the Great Key Debacle of yesterday morning was the worst the week had to offer. Newsletter that's been driving me up the wall is now finalised and into production, so I can relax and settle down to a bit of drudge work stapling, stuffing and stamping.
Drudge work aided and abetted by consumption of nice homemade biscuits. I had a go at a 'secret family recipe' sent over by the newly discovered long-lost cousins in Canada. Converting the measurements into British took some doing, as not all the instructions were crystal clear, but the end result is not bad at all. And if I attempt to make them again, having tried the recipe once I can now play around with it a bit.
Haven't baked properly in ages, but now I feel all fired up to keep making yummy and sinful things to eat. Must resist this temptation - so bad for the waistline!
